Alpine Farms has produced riders that have competed at USEF Pony Finals in Lexington, Ky. national hunter / jumper finals in Harrisburg, PA, Zone Finals, USEF Finals and much more. Safety is the foremost consideration while we train to develop our riding skills and it is all fun. Our instructors have a combined 50+ years teaching and riding experience. Our school horses frequently have extensive show records and are selected for having an even disposition. We customize our program to fit your needs as a rider. There are also opportunities for aspiring equestrians to participate in the three USEF “A” Rated shows held at The Farm annually. These shows are a huge value compared to the expense of attending away shows.

What we ask of our riders:

• Arrive 20-30 minutes prior to the start of the lesson as well as staying 20-30 minutes after the lesson to take care of the horse and tack.

• Arrive with a ASTM and SEI certified helmet.

• Wear proper foot wear such as paddock boots with half/full chaps or tall boots. These items can be sourced from Stone Ridge Equestrian, a local tack store located in Long Lake or Dover Saddlery in Hamel. (We can suggest options for first timers before you invest in the equipment.)

• A riding release must be completed before the start of the first lesson. The release can be printed from HERE.

• Due to the demand for lessons and in consideration of our horses and instructors we do ask for a 24 hour cancellation notice.
